At Streetlight, we believe in collective leadership, deep listening, and building power across generations. Our team is made up of youth workers, artists, organizers, and former youth participants who now help guide our work.
We’re in the process of formalizing our Youth Advisory Council, made up of alumni from past campaigns and intensives. Streetlight is shaped by their feedback, visions, and lived experiences. They help us stay accountable to what really matters.
Rae (she/her) is a youth worker, writer, and the executive director of Streetlight. She’s spent the last decade supporting youth-led research, organizing, and storytelling projects rooted in justice and possibility. Rae believes in slow process, messy joy, and the power of young people to light the way.
Micaiah (she/her) is an educator, community builder, and Streetlights Program Director. She brings care, laughter, and calrity to building programs that center youth voice and community power. Micaiah believes in dismantling systems that no longer serve us and making room for new light through collective care, creativity, and joy.
Tim (he/they) is a systems thinker, coach, and Streetlight’s operations lead. Tim brings a steady hand and radical heart to the work of building structures that actually serve people. They believe in clarity, care, and creating room for rest, resistance, and reinvention.
